Delicious breakfast burrito. Clean, quick, good price, good service...what more could you want?! By a high school, I got there at 11 just before it got slammed...wouldn't suggest going during lunch time - very popular.
Visiting from So. Cali. where Mexican food is plentiful and exceptional these tacos hands down are the best you'll ever have. Tucked away in a corner of Louisville, Taco Aya Yay is a hidden gem. From the moment you step inside, Cesar was very welcoming. Their signature tacos, with perfectly marinated pork, asada, or carnitas are nothing short of a flavor explosion that will transport your taste buds straight to Mexico. With friendly service, and unbeatable prices, Tacos Aya Yay isn't just a meal - it's a fiesta for your senses that will leave you craving more.
6/5 stars-- I'm from outside of Los Angeles and feel really lucky to have been hungry and opened Yelp at the right time! This place is a destination and if you're anywhere close to it in the Denver area, it is a must frequent. We're considering moving to Littleton, Ken Caryl, Highlands Ranch etc and I will commute up to Lafayette for the tacos if we do!
Very excellent tacos. I was definitely impressed I found out about this place because it was on the top 100 list. The only downfall I can see is the lack of seating. Ambiance is truly a street taco place in a strip mall. There were a few chairs and counters to eat at which is good for a party of one or two. Still I have to give 5 stars for the excellent food and amazing service. I will be back.
Why Tacos Aya Yay doesn't have a line out the door everyday and Teocali does is another one of life's great mysteries. This place, IMHO, has the best Mexican food. The tamales, the quesadillas, and the tacos were all bursting with flavor today. They seemed to have to spice level dialed in to with their seasonings. And their homemade salsas are complement the food beautifully. If you're scouring through Yelp looking for some Mexican food, don't pass this place up. Also, don't let the fact that it's in a gas station strip mall deceive you either. This place is great!
This place was soo tasty. I had the Birria tacos and an orange soda. Definitely don't pass this one up, worth the drive.
I've eaten here a handful of times, so I was not surprised when they were rated one of Yelps top Mexican restaurants in the country. The QuesaBirria, Taco-Torta and Tres Leche are currently my favorites. All the self severe hot sauces are excellent and full of flavor too! The restaurant has very limited seating and is what you would call a hole in the wall but don't let that discourage you. There is top notch food being prepared here for a great price! If they keep doing what they doing I will be coming here for years to come.
Impressed with the quality of the food. Reasonably priced. Served promptly. The place is popular, so plan to wait in line at lunchtime. Counter seating available and turns over quickly. The carnitas torta was delicious -- roasted perfectly. The barbacoa was also phenomenal. A regular in line ahead of me, suggested the combo as a great option. Lots of fries came with the combo, hot and crispy. Tacos inexpensive. Don't miss the salsa bar. Nothing fancy here and no frills inside. Just consistently good Mexican food.
